Horse Farm Flowers
Our flowers are finished for 2024 but we'll be glad to see you again in spring of 2025 for beautiful bouquets of fresh, locally grown flowers for yourself or a loved one!
Meet the flower farmers
Horse Farm Flowers is a small operation - volunteers are welcome!
Joanne Braithwaite
Joanne has always had a flower garden but, like most of us, it was just large enough for a few simple bouquets in the summertime. Most of her career was spent in radio and television and then, for another ten years or so, she and her husband ran a trail riding outfit. Now she’s back to the land with Horse Farm Flowers and she couldn’t be happier. There’s nothing better than spending the day surrounded by beauty and sharing it with others.
Gene Park
Gene and Joanne met through horses and still enjoy time together riding the trails near their Barnhartvale, Kamloops home. Gene doesn’t spend a lot of time tending to the flowers but is always there to lend a helping hand and to run heavy equipment - there’s no one handier with a tractor than Gene. You might meet him out at the flower stand when you drop by to pick up a bouquet, as he’s the guy who runs the flowers out each morning after coffee.
